Here is a close up of some of the eggs. The pale green and brown eggs are just about the same size. They are so large that sometimes the egg cartons can't shut close. Then there are the teeny tiny eggs from Teriann's Banty hens. They are just too cute.
Hope that you didn't mind my spoof. The funny part is that my neighbors were watching me put Henrietta out on the front lawn with the basket of eggs and taking photos. I must have looked like I had lost my marbles. Oh well, it was all in good humor and laughter is contagious, even if it is at yourself.
Thank you Teriann for such wonderful eggs and delivering them to me on Friday mornings when we get together for coffee.

Oh, lucky you! I wish I had somewhere I could get farm fresh eggs.
By the way, your blog won't let me leave my proper blog address when I leave comments anymore! lol It's just www.thefrugalgirl.com now instead of thefrugalgirl.wordpress.com. I wish they had an open ID option for wordpress.org blogs, which is what I have now. Oh well. :p
lucky duck or should i say hen :p so cool to have a friend with a hen and eggs so many things we can do on our own just takes time
Angie~ As I was reading your blog I did not know whether to laugh or to cry. I feel so blessed to be able to raise these hens and get eggs to you and your family. I am glad that you enjoy them... Also I think that you have a good looking hen. I am curious how you are going to post the steer in your freezer. Do you have a fake steer sitting around anywhere? You will surley get some wierd looks from your neighbors! :0)
